About me

Chinyere Nzeigwe
Former Kiehl's Global Ambassador | Certified Gut Nutritionist | Beauty Ritualist

I'm a beauty explorer helping women of color glow confidently by blending ancestral wisdom with modern skincare science. My golden rule? If it doesn't save coins and add glow, I'm not recommending it.

EDUCATION

Growing up in Okwuzi Egbema, Nigeria, I learned beauty through my grandmother's hibiscus rituals. But as a young teenager, I battled persistent breakouts and pigmentation that left me frustrated and insecure.

Everything changed when I stopped choosing between ancestral wisdom and science. I earned my B.Sc. in Biology, M.S. in Clinical Psychology, and became a Certified Gut Nutritionist. Eventually, my passion for skincare and deep understanding of what works landed me a brand deal as a Global Ambassador with Kiehl's, working alongside leading international beauty houses.

My grandmother was right all along I just needed to understand why her remedies worked. Now I blend time honored traditions with clinical knowledge to help women of color achieve radiant skin.

My journey

My quest for glowing skin took me across four continents.

During university, I lived and studied in China, Japan, and the Philippines, discovering rice water rituals, fermented skincare secrets, and coconut traditions that transformed my melanin-rich skin.

Now based in Dubai, I explore Middle Eastern beauty wisdom while adapting routines for desert climates. From humid tropical weather to extreme heat, I've learned how skin thrives differently everywhere.

Every country taught me something new. Every climate demanded different approaches. Now I share these discoveries with women of color navigating their own glow journeys.

Beauty is a conversation between generations

Behind every ritual I share are the women who welcomed me into their beauty traditions.

My grandmother's hibiscus remedies in Nigeria. Japanese grandmothers preparing rice water for decades. Korean shop owners explaining fermentation. Filipino women sharing coconut techniques. Middle Eastern traditions of honey and healing oils.

I don't just borrow these ritual I honor them. I learn their history, understand their purpose, and adapt them respectfully for modern life and melanin-rich skin.

Beauty isn't just products. It's connection, tradition, and knowledge passed down through generations of women who understood that true radiance comes from honoring your whole self.
