About me
Chinyere Nzeigwe
Global Beauty Explorer | Founder of SkinSoBeautiful
Growing up in Okwuzi Egbema, Nigeria, I learned beauty through my grandmother’s hibiscus rituals yet I hide behind layers of concealer, battling breakouts and pigmentation. My B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Clinical Psychology taught me the science of skin, It was the combination of my ancestors’ remedies and science that healed me.
My journey
My education taught me the how of skin, but my travels across Japan, China, South Korea, the Middle East, and Asia taught me the why. In Kyoto, a tea master showed me how matcha rituals nourish both skin and spirit. In Mumbai, a grandmother shared her turmeric-infused secrets for radiant resilience. These moments revealed a universal truth:
Beauty is not a trend it’s a story. A legacy. A love letter to who we are.

People and culture
With eight years at Kiehl’s, I became the face of the brand, helping people feel seen in their skin. But I wanted more. In 2021, I founded SkinSoBeautiful a platform where beauty meets culture, storytelling, and self-love.
I also teach video editing and storytelling, helping others share their beauty and cultural stories through their own lens. Because your skin is not a problem t’s a story.
Beauty isn’t about fitting in. It’s about embracing who you are. Let’s explore it together.
